Great Plains Developer

We are searching for a highly effective, self-motivated, Dynamics GP Developer to join our team full-time. This person will utilize best practices and methodologies to design, implement and/or upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP and associated solutions for our Manufacturing and Finance business owners. This candidate will work extensively with internal teams, clients, and vendors throughout their day to day, and provide subject matter expertise and hands-on implementation experience. Candidates will also support out GP Admin roles for smaller projects and day to day questions that come up. This candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be receptive to mentoring.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and perform customizations to Dynamics GP
• Design and create integrations with Dynamics GP
• Provide technical ownership of Microsoft Dynamics GP projects
• Provide technical support to Dynamics GP users and design ERP related solutions (e.g. new interfaces and add-ons).
• Perform data analysis using SQL.
• Provide support to reconcile and fix Dynamics GP data, as required.
• Provide GP support for our CRM team as needed
• Design/create reports and financial statements using Dynamics GP reporting tools (e.g. Smart List, FXR, etc.), SQL views, and Excel.
• Work closely with the Business users while executing business requirements into system solutions.
• Develop and support interfaces to/from Dynamics GP
• Develop and support upload data templates into Dynamics GP
• Configure Dynamics GP Financial, Inventory, and Sales Order Processing modules.
• Research/troubleshoot application issues and resolve while working closely with the team, as required.
• Work with QA to identify proper test scenarios, create test scripts, and define expected results for specific Dynamics GP new interfaces and add-on modules.
• Participate in project planning, including estimating work efforts and helping define detail for project plans.
• Create meeting minutes and follow up on action items.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience with .Net c# (WinForms and Wed)
• 2-3 years of experience working with GP2010
• 2-3 years of experience working on the design, configuration and support of MS Dynamics GP systems.
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics GP Financial and Manufacturing modules, including detailed knowledge of the database schema and integration between the various modules is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage individual time and tasks
• Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing business needs
• Expertise in Dynamics GP integration tools
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server
• Dynamics CRM integration experience a plus
• Experience with eConnect preferred
• Experience with Dynamics GP Modifier
• Experience with Dexterity not required but helpful
• Experience with core financials, project accounting, POP, SOP, and manufacturing
• Experience with ISVs- Nolan Intercompany, Accountable Software, Kwiktags, Credit Card Processing
• Query and report writing experience using SQL reporting services, OLAP tools, Dynamics GP tools such as FRX and Smart List is a plus.
• Dynamics GP certification a plus
