Product Manager

XO Group Inc. seeks a Senior Product Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-obsessed self-starter with a passion for developing great products.

Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects and staying calm and collected under pressure must be part of your DNA. You thrive on being part of a collaborative team and will never say the words “It’s not my job”!

Responsibilities:

•   Define and continually evolve a product vision/strategy that supports both user needs and business goals
•   Manage/own the complete product development cycle from conception through design, build, release, analysis and future iteration (roadmap)
•   Collaborate with other product managers, design, and development resources to ensure successful integration, quality and timeliness of delivery
•   Establish success (or failure) metrics that your team can act upon to increase product adoption
•   Be the advocate/evangelist for the product, both among your team and throughout the company

Qualifications:

•   Minimum of five (ideally seven or more) years’ product management experience in consumer-facing web companies
•   Proven history of designing quality, engaging products
•   Extensive knowledge of existing web/mobile technologies and their associated best practices
•   A passion for technology innovation and its future application to consumer web/mobile applications
•   Capacity to reduce complex options to simple, elegant, user-centric solutions
•   Ability to balance short-term demands with long-term vision
•   Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
•   A strong entrepreneurial spirit
